Sydney Aylsworth, MHC-LP
About Sydney…
Sydney Aylsworth’s passions for psychology and therapy have deep roots. She comes from a family of professionals including nurses and teachers, and she is the first one of her siblings to go to graduate school, a ground breaking move that has fueled her dedication to her career. A California native, Sydney’s grad school training in Los Angeles had her working in the Compton area with ex-gang members, where she dealt directly with community violence, trauma, and substance abuse. This eye-opening experience was life changing, preparing her to work with many different types of clients.
Now based in New York City, Sydney complements her role as a therapist with her parallel training as a yoga instructor, bringing a simultaneous awareness of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health to her work with clients.
